Destination To File Output Mask

  • We are using Iguana to process csv files in a “From File” “To File” channel. I’d like for the Source and Destination file name to be the same, but different directories. This way we can match up which destination file belongs to which source file. Is this possible? It seems Iguana can only generate a new file name which makes it difficult to know what source file the destination file was generated from.

You can do what you describe, but not with the From File and To File channel endpoints. You’ll need to use From Translator and To Translator, and code your own file read and write methods using the Lua io.open, io.read, io.write, etc. functions.

Ah that makes sense. Thanks for the suggestion
