Hi all,
we would like to define a role that is allowed to perform the user management (add user, edit user, remove user) but cannot edit the LUA scripts (no Translator IDE rights).
Is it possible to grant user management rights to the role of the LabAdmin or revoke Translator IDE rights from a user with the role as Administrator?
That would seem to open up a potential bag of cats, given that the ability to assign specific user security privileges would have to be a part of an “Administer Users” permission. Such a user administrator would have to be prohibited from modifying his own permissions, as well as being limited as to what permissions he could assign to accounts he creates (what would prevent him from creating another admin account with full access for him/her to log in through?).
Not a simple problem to solve . . .
