Uninstalling Fleet Manager

Uninstalling Fleet Manager is basically a two step process: First unregister the service/daemon and then delete the Fleet Manager install directory. Deleting the install directory is optional as you may prefer to keep it for reference — you should at least back it up before deleting.

Windows

  1. Unregister the Fleet Manager service:
    1. Open a Windows Command Prompt (CMD) window and run this command:
      sc.exe delete "FleetManager"
  2. Restart Windows.
  3. Open the Services app and confirm that the iNTERFACEWARE Fleet Manager service is no longer registered.
  4. Optional: Delete the Fleet Manager install directory.

Linux

  1. Unregister the Fleet Manager daemon:
    1. Open a terminal window and run this command:
      sudo systemctl disable FleetManager
  2. Optional: Delete the Fleet Manager install directory.

Mac

  1. Unregister the Fleet Manager daemon:
    1. Open a terminal window and run this command:
      sudo launchctl remove FleetManager
  2. Optional: Delete the Fleet Manager install directory.
