When we first released the Iguana Translator, we were experimenting with a completely new approach to IDE development. Because of the fluid nature of interface design and the ever-changing parameters of integration, we knew that the right solution had to be powerful and customizable. We wanted to invent a comprehensive, easy-to-use tool that had no limit to its application.
Well, the experiment is a success! Not only have we succeeded in creating a robust scripting environment well suited to all levels of experience, but we’ve also managed to create an ever-adaptable tool that our customers are successfully using in ways we would never have predicted!
Now is the time to go back and double-down on our efforts. By partnering with our customers, we are learning more and more about all the different ways that Iguana can be applied. The result? We’ve taken what we’ve learned to refine features, enhance usability, and build upon our successes.

- Several bugs related to handling NULL and zero values in databases have been fixed:
- Bug fix Iguana 5.5.1 – When zero was selected from a database, it was converted to NULL
- Bug fix Iguana 5.5.1 – When nil values were saved to a database by db.merge, they were converted to zero
- Bug fix Iguana 5.5.1 – When nil date values were saved to a database by db.merge, they were converted to 1899-12-31
- Sample message data can be included in a project zip file
