Now let’s run the channel and watch it in action as it processes six “live” messages:

  1. From the Dashboard, click the Start button for the ‘Iguana First Steps’ channel:

    Start the HL7 Listener:
  2. Start the HL7 Simulator:

    After a few seconds, you should see that six messages were sent:
  3. Return to the HL7 Listener. Notice that it has successfully received all 6 messages!

Let’s take a closer look at the results using the Iguana Logs.
